Year 2 Term 1 - Community

Corinthians 12:24-26

“But God has combined the members of the body … so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.”

Community is the first value of the school year. When everybody is returning to the school environment, it is the perfect time to think about the communities that we all belong to. The members of our school family are interdependent: all are needed and valued and each person is important to the whole. We work together to ensure all feel included and valued.

Through Christ we all share fellowship with one another as one big family.

The views of our community are:

·         that everyone in our community are kind to each other.

·         that all members of the community respect and consider each other.

·         that people who visit our community are made to feel welcome to our home.

·         that our community is a safe place for everyone.
