It was a pleasure to welcome the Collective Worship Council members from St Georges today for a joint worship on this term's value, Forgiveness.
Each class talked about the work they had done this term on forgiveness or saying sorry. Certificates were given out to those children who had been great examples to us all by showing forgiveness this term. At break time, children from William Hildyard asked if their friends from St Georges could come out to play with them, which was lovely to hear. After break, the Collective Worship Council members from both schools enjoyed some juice and biscuits. They then worked together to discuss what they liked about RE lessons and Collective Worship, such as acting. Their ideas will be given to teachers so that more of these things can be included in RE lessons or Collective Worships.
