Sam Ruddock visit

On Thursday 18th May, we were very excited to welcome Sam Ruddock to school. Sam is a Paralympic athlete who has competed at London 2012 and Rio 2016 for Great Britain. He is also a sports ambassador for Inspire+, a sports charity that we are linked with. Sam spoke to the whole school about his life as an athlete and about his experiences at the Paralympics.

Sam also talked about how we can conquer our fears and how to take the anxiety that we all experience before we do something that is important to us and use it in a positive way. The children and staff were enthralled by what he had to say and were full of questions.
